Horsa Panel GA.jpg
Hello!

I've made a 1:1 scale drawing for a Horsa main instrument panel (not sure what mark), and I'm considering having one made by a woodworking friend of mine. I've taken my measurements from several restored/reproduced examples, original instruments that I possess and the Mk I manual. Here's my GA drawing. If needed, I can add the altitude cut out.

I suppose if I'm having one made, I may as well have more made at the same time.

Anybody interested?

If you can put any pointers my way for more accuracy, I'd be most grateful.

Cheers!

Has anyone else got any other bits of Horsa? I have the belt used by the troops (as in this photo). A friend has a wing spar. If we all take our bits to an event we could put them all together and build a Horsa!!! Getting back to the original post, yes, I might be interested in the instrument panel.

PS - can I suggest you add the word "Horsa" to the title of you post?

Yes obt48, I saw that I forgot to a 'Horsa' when I posted, but I can't find a way of changing the title (it was a bit of a Homer Simpson moment, I must admit)!
Back to the item in question, I have also made up a weight placard drawing too, and I shall make a start on the upper panel if there is enough interest.
