hello all.

just been looking at a photo of some indian paratroops getting ready to exit the aircraft and ive noticed something which is going to be quite contraversal to the X TYPE PARACHUTE. please look at the rear of the pack and you will notice the four flaps closing it are closed by useing fabric loops . like the post war parachute . wartime are brass gromits . question is whats the time period .

regards

My educated guess, given the caption, would be that this shows Gurkha paratroops and relates to Op Dracula. Therefore around May 1945.
