Anyone know much about this unit?

I have read this biography:

http://www.pegasusarchive.org/arnhem/dale_thatcher.htm

Very interesting! It mentions how they used their own uniforms but removed the patches incase of capture.

BUT what were their uniforms like? I recon they were airforce so what would their combat uniform be like?

Four Wacos with a total of 10 men and jeeps with british drivers.

What kind of jeeps.do.you recon they were? Modified brit airborne jeeps? But it says their own jeeps so im assuming they were US. Recon they had trailers too?

Hi Scott

Any chance you could post the name and author of that book please. I've had an interest in this small group for a while now. Does the book have any images of their kit/jeeps in it?.

Cheers

Matt

Hi Scott

I think you might break some sort of law if you put any of the images or paragraphs on here. Is the author Philip Reinders? if so I might be able to contact him as I have his website saved somewhere.

Cheers
