I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that Oggy meant modifiying it to fit an M1A1 "Paratrooper" stock.

Well that wasn't what I expected to see!

As long as it takes original mags and you can make it fit an M2 stock, it should be easy enough to make one of those. Which unit's portrayal are you planning on using it for?

Errrrrrr........... it wouldn't surprise me if that was an original Carbine pictured, with a very nice polished stock. If it's the Denix, it's the first replica NOT to have all the updated parts on it and a pot bellied stock, in which case it looks very nice.

IF and that's a BIG IF that was a sample of their production then they're getting much better at their detailing... I-cut stock, high wood, type 1 barrel band, 2-rivet handguard, flip sights...

had an email from Denix's European sales manager - yup that is their latest production to be released in the not to distant future. Christ I should be on royalties as I gave 'em all the pics,references and what would sell well to reenactors 4 years ago!!!!!!
