James that will be 11-43 not 11-33 mate

To remove the bayonet lug first you have to remove the front sight by driving out the pin that holds it...once the pin is removed you have to push or pull of the front sight with care.
Once the sight is removed then remove the woodruff key that the sight sits on.....leaving you with a straight barrel

Undo the barrel band screw completely ..press the lug retaining spring clip don and slide the whole bayonet lug forward and off of the end of the barrel.

Replace it with correct type 1 band and also push safety.......and also you will need a flip sight too.

To be correct your carbine needs a flat bolt and correct woodwork.....too

Regards

Lloyd

Easy mate no diagram required look at the side of the front sight and about half way down it you will see a small round pin.....drive this out..usually left to right and then you will need to push or pull off the front sight.

Regards

Lloyd

Yes mate pin MUST be replaced.....otherwise front sight "may" fall off...

you WILL need.....for sure

flip sight.....type one band.....push safety......possible WW2 woodwork if it has a Pot Belly M2 stock on it

or !

I have another option if you are at Beltring.....i will bring the tools...you bring the parts..... 8)

Regards

Lloyd
