HNY to all you guys and gals..
Not much interest has been shown to me in doing the Pip Pk April 2016 gig so at the end of Feb 2016 if situation remains the same
Ill pull the plug on it.
No worries.

Hope Pip Park picks up interest, be sad to see this great event fall by the wayside. Good luck Pete. I'm assuming it's still no Yanks.

There's no Decent Battle's around now and PIP was a true living history Battle to take part in. No Yank group seem to want to do the good ones any more. Yes the weapons arent cheap to hire and we may be getting a little older too. But it will be sad to see this event end. Thanks Pete for running this will truly miss it. I guess it just public shows and getting pissed in green from now on.!!!!!!!

Seeing as a huge majority of reenactors are yanks and Germans, I am quite surprised yanks weren't included in this battle.

Private battles have always been more Interesting for me than " educate the public",yawn

This could be a really good event- The seaborne tail and remnant's of 1st Airborne after evacuation are still in Holland, aided by Dutch resistance( re- rolled American ree nactors into civvies).German forces are still trying to cut the lines of communication, with 30 corp still patrolling up and down the corridor etc.

All that's stopping you,is you!

With you on that one love doing private battle's. .
The only problem is that if there's not enough hireing weapons the section 5 holder don't whan to know. And the last couple of years at Pip there's not been enough yanks attending to justify them to turn up and hiring them out. Shame really, for the few that don't have there own weapons and for those who do enjoy a good weekend battling.

Just a note; if this stupid new EU law gets through this April it may be the last battle you may do for good with section 5 stuff, hopefully not.
