Hi guys

I help make leather garments and a customer has asked me for a WW2 British Tank drivers Support Belt. Apparently it's about 12 inches at the rear, tapering to 6 inches at the front with a 3 buckle closure but he can't supply me with any pictures. Supposedly looks like a weightlifting belt.

I just want to know, is this a real item or does anyone have any photos of said belt? I'm struggling to find anything at all on it!

Cheers Guys and Gals!
Jon

I think he means a kidney belt, commonly worn by despatch riders. I believe these are fairly easy to find original, even mint.

See http://www.theliberator.be/liberator2.htm near the bottom of the page.
